The story so far…
April Nites was started by Gemma and Nopi Goswami in 2008. In a very short space of time April Nites has grown from being a Brisbane-based party plan business to a nationwide network of consultants.
Gemma came to Australia from the UK in 2004 for a six month visit and instantly fell in love with the country. "I did not want to go back at the end of the six months so decided to put down roots here and make this home."
Gemma had worked in the adult party plan industry in the UK and noticed that there was nowhere for Australian women to go and buy these products and feel comfortable. "The adult industry in Australia was still very much male focused and this was something I definitely wanted to change. It is healthy and empowering for women to be able to discuss their sexual needs and have access to products that can enhance their sex life."
Empowerment is the foundation on which April Nites is built, the business not only empowers women to get their sexual needs met but also to be financially independent. April Nites unique business structure allows women to build their own business with little outlay whilst receiving training and support from Head Office. "Our consultants are strong, professional business owners. These ladies are in control of their own lives and income and get to enjoy their work and know they are helping others."
"When I first arrived I looked into joining an adult party plan company but was put off by the high cost of the demonstration kit. I also wanted to find a company that was aimed at real women and was not afraid to be sexy. I kept all of this in mind when establishing April Nites."
